Our Year 3 – O’Keeffe

Hello! Welcome to our class page and a taster of what we are up to this term. Our teachers are Mrs Law and Mrs Clarke.

Here are some details about our class artist Georgia Totto O'Keeffe (1887-1986).

Born in Wisconsin, she was one of seven children. By the age of ten she had decided to become an artist. She first came to the attention of the New York art community in 1916 and is best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe has been recognized as the "Mother of American modernism".

Please take a look, in more detail, at this term's curriculum.
