Our Reception – Klee

Hello! Welcome to our class page and a taster of what we are up to this term. Our teacher is Mrs Lloyd.

Here are some details about our artist Paul Klee (1879-1940)

He was born in Switzerland and became friends with Wassily Kandinsky. In 1912 he travelled to Paris. Inspired by Cubism and Robert Delaunay’s brave use of colour, Klee started to experiment with colour and define his own style. His work was also influenced by cubism, surrealism and expressionism and he completed up to 9000 pieces of art in his lifetime.

Please take a look, in more detail, at this term's curriculum.
